Who we are... The Dos Palos Y Auction Yard was established at the "Dos Palos Y" in 1950 by Tony J. Cozzi. The business is located on Hwy 33, approximately 1/4 mile South of Hwy 152. In 1950 Hwy 33 and Hwy 152 were both two lane roads making a "Y" at the junction, and that is how we got our name. After fifty-five years of conducting business at the same location, we have earned a reputation of honesty, integrity and providing the best possible personal service to each of our customers. Being a family business enables us to treat our customers in the same manner in which we want to be treated. We are very proud that there are three generations of Cozzi's involved in the business: Tony J.(now retired), son Joel E., grandson Joel A. (Joey). There is even an upcoming fourth generation, great grandsons Jarod and Justin Cozzi. We specialize in on-site equipment and dairy auctions. We also hold these specials at our yard. We hold two livestock auctions weekly: Mondays and Thursdays. We work hard to provide the best markets and service possible to the dairy community, cattle ranchers and individual raisers. We consider each of our customers our friends. Along with our auction services we also do equipment appraisals and livestock transportation. The bottom line is we are a family business and we take pride in what we do and respect the feelings and opinions of our customers .
